It is ten past ten
English has some specific and formal expressions to tell the time. It usually expresses the minutes at first and then the hour unless it is the hour o'clock.
You must be sure if you are telling the minutes that pass the hour until half an hour or the missed minutes to complete the next one after half an hour.
El inglés tiene algunas expresiones formales y específicas para decir la hora. Suele expresar primero los minutos y luego la hora a menos que sea la hora en punto. Debes estar seguro si estás diciendo los minutos que pasan la hora hasta la media hora o los minutos que faltan para completar el siguiente después de la media hora.
